Vila Gale Lagos

The room we stayed in had a fantastic sea view. The pool area looked great, and lounging there was enjoyable, though finding shade was tricky due to high demand for umbrellas. The hotel is well-maintained, and the staff at the pool bar were friendly and efficient. Breakfast offered a good variety, but the dining experience sometimes felt chaotic. Service during dinner was inconsistent. My biggest complaint was the restaurant's staff, who seemed overwhelmed, leading to long waits and cold food. I also wish the WiFi connection was more reliable. It consistently dropped out in various parts of the hotel. A nice stay, but they must address staffing and food consistency to improve the experience.

I booked a room with a good bed, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and a personal safe. The staff were very efficient and incredibly helpful and the location was excellent in the restaurants.

It offers good services and has an above average breakfast choices. The room is a nice size and well-kept with a great bed and pillows. The location is ideal, the staff is very professional...

Fabulous location with amazing pools

The hotel offers fabulous grounds with three large interconnected pools, plenty of sun loungers, and a convenient beach access just across the road. I really enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and the yummy breakfast options, including fresh omelettes and pastries. The staff could improve their customer service approach, as they seemed a bit unfriendly at times.

Driving into the hotel, it is truely stunning. Everything about it looks sharp and elegant. We were upgraded rooms when the staff realised we were on honeymoon, and the view from our room was superb. Rooms are really clean and quite big. Buffet breakfast is quite good too.

We were very disappointed with the food in the restaurant, although they did give us complimentary champagne for our honeymoon. The spa facilities look great, and it costs 10 euro to get in which is fine. But then they require everyone to wear a swimming cap, and if you dont have one its another 2.50 euro. We could also hear the people in the next room with a baby, so the walls arent well insulated.

The one thing I did not like about the hotel was its distance from the town centre. We got taxi's all the time which cost between 4 - 5 euro each way. If you did walk it was through a building site and quite hard to remember the exact way.

Great hotel with fantastic amenities like the outdoor swimming pool, 24-hour reception, and spa & wellness centre. I'll always remember how the staff helped me find a valuable item during my first stay. I'm coming back for a new year!

A modern hotel with excellent facilities. The large outdoor pool has plenty of sun loungers and a pool side bar selling food, drinks and ice creams. The buffet restaurant serves high quality food in very nice surroundings and the bar offers a pleasant environment in which to have a relaxing drink. Our room was very spacious with a generous sized balcony equipped with a table and chairs. The bathroom was a good size and had a very powerful shower over a bath. The hotel is very close to the beach which takes less than 5 minutes to walk to. The staff are very friendly and helpful and a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the hotel.

The hotel is a little outside of the town centre which takes about 20 minutes to walk to. However, a taxi only costs around 5 euros each way. There is a charge to use the indoor spa facilities.

Hotel is nice and confy, the service is very good and the pool is amazing. The breakfast (free) and food (decently priced) are good at and it has free parking

No free wireless internet. When we stayed, the hotel was fully booked, so there was too many people around all the time. There were lines for the breakfast and little solarium chairs available (anyway, it was a weekend during busy season, so we should be expecting..)

The Vila Gale boasts an excellent atmosphere with modern decor and spacious, well-equipped rooms. The food quality and presentation each night were amazing, complemented by a wide selection of beverages. The hotel has thoughtful accessibility features and well-maintained pools, which add to the overall enjoyment of the stay.

Some amenities, like the tea/coffee options, were lacking.

The Vila Gale Lagos had fine public areas, showcasing a chic, modern décor that was both inviting and accessible for seniors, making it easy to navigate and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

More shade around the pool for comfort.

It was in a marvellous location walking distance to a bus stop. The property was within walking distance of the beach. We ate at an amazing restaurant for dinner. This brand-new hotel offered us good views and scenery.

Clean, sophiscation

The room was reasonably spacious and huge with a safe, a mini-bar and a sofa bed.
